Christopher Moreno has studied applied ethics in the undergraduate program
at the University of Western Ontario and in the graduate programs at the
University of British Columbia and Lacrosse University. In addition to being
a Dean's List Student, he received numerous awards for his debating and
public speaking work. In 1994 he was Yale's top public speaker, the first
Canadian to ever receive this honour. In 1997 he was Western Canada's top
debater and represented Canada at the world debate championships in
successive years.
Christopher has participated in a variety of conferences including the 1998 Bio-Ethics Conference, the 1999 Canadian Philosophers Conference, the University of British Columbia's Colloquia Series and Simon Fraser University's Philosopher's Cafe Series.
He received his Master's Degree from Lacrosse University in Ethics (and included a dozen courses studies at UBC). His thesis is titled "Technology, Imperatives and Moral Responsibility". Read a Message from the Founder of Action Ethics Group Chris Moreno
